Schooner KENOSHA. - This schooner, which was driven on a reef in Thunder Bay in the great gale of November last, has been got off by the tug B.F. BRUCE, Captain Whipple, with the Palmer pumps, and reached here yesteray, where she is to be repaired.
The BRUCE reached the ground on the 15th, when the wreck was raised sufficiently to afford an opportunity to commence the work of getting out her coal. By working vigorously in the day time and allowing her to sink at night, the unloading was completed last Thursday, when her main sail was stretched under her, after which she was kept clear with a single pump until she reached Detroit.
She is considerably damaged, the center board box is opened its entire length to the width of an inch and a half, there are several bad holes in her bottom, one of her arches is cracked; and her deck beams are rather badly broken, and the spars are mostly gone. Her anchors, chains and rigging are all saved. Full repairs will probably not cost less than $3,000. - Detroit Tribune
