      STRUCK BY LIGHTNING. - The Chicago Press & Tribune says the schooner
ORKNEY LASS, lying at Munger & Armour's dock, was struck by lightning during
the storm of night before last. The lightning followed the main mast down, ripping up
part of the deck. Her fore top mast and yards were also broken. Seven persons were
asleep on board at the time, yet none were injured.
