Schooner E.C. ROBERTS, split canvas on Lake Huron. Property loss $100.

      The schooner E.C. ROBERTS was overtaken by the gale when near the Manitous, and was driven over towards Goderich. She reports the gale as having been most furious on Lake Huron. Her mainsail, foresail, staysail and jib all split.
