Brig GLOBE, collided with an unknown Bark off Long Point, Lake Erie, and lost her head gear &c.
      Buffalo Morning Express
      March 11, 1861. (Casualty List, 1860)

      COLLISION. - The brig GLOBE, bound down, came in collision with an unknown
three-masted vessel, bound up, Monday night, off Long Point. The brig arrived
here yesterday, minus her head-gear. Otherwise, not damaged.
