MENDOTA Propeller, jetted deck load of beef, in a gale on Lake Huron.

ACCIDENT.---A private despatch from Detroit, received at 12 o'clock, noon, today,
states that the propeller MENDOTA had sprung a leak and thrown over her cargo, on
Lake Huron. She had not yet arrived at Detroit.
