ECLIPSE Schooner, damaged in collision with Propeller ROCKET on St. Clair Flats.
      Buffalo Commercial Advertiser
      Jan. 26, 1863. Casualty List, 1862

      The propelller ROCKET, bound up, and the schooner ECLIPSE, bound down,
collided at Southeast bend, River St. Clair. The schooner lost her big anchor
and 80 fathom of chain, besides damage to her bow. The propeller was uninjured
The schooner was not detained in consequence. - Detroit Free Press
