Schooner GEM, sprung a leak and lost a mast and some canvas on Lake Erie.

      DISABLED. - The bark GEM ( Canadian ) reached here a day or two since in a disabled condition, having sprung a leak during some heavy weather off Port Burwell on Lake Erie, besides carrying away one of her spars and losing a portion of her rigging and sails. Her repairs will cost not less than $600. --- Detroit Free Press
