Schooner J.F. WARNER, damaged by collision with the schooner MARQUETTE, in the Straits of Mackinac.

COLLISION. - By a note received yesterday from the capt. Langley, of the propeller MAYFLOWER, bearing date the 21st., we are informed of a collision which took place on that night in the Mackinaw Straits, South passage, off Sheboygan, between the schooners MARQUETTE and J.F. WARNER, resulting in the sinking of the former in eight fathoms of water. There are two vessels of the name of MARQUETTE hailing respectively from Detroit and Chicago. The vessel in question it is presumed hails from the latter. - Detroit Free Press.
