Propeller SCIOTA, ran into Port Maitland at a high stage of the water and
was left aground on the inside.

      ASHORE. - We learn from Mr. J.A. Head that the propeller SCIOTA is ashore at
Grand River, Canada West. She was bound up light. She is lying in about three feet
water, and her hull imbedded three feet in the sand.
