Steamer GREAT WESTERN, in collision with the Schooner REGINA, the schr. lost her bowsprit.

A COLLISION. - The schooner REGINA, bound for this port with a load of bark when nearly opposite the foot of Woodward Avenue, Friday night about 7 o'clock, came in collision with the iron steamer GREAT WESTERN, which at the time was crossing to the Windsor side of the river. The vessel was struck on the port side, carrying away her jibboom, bowsprit, cathead, bulwarks, one stanchion, bulwark and plankshear, and narrowly escaped being run down. - Detroit Post.
