BRIG LOWELL ASHORE. - The brig LOWELL is reported ashore near Georgian Bay, in close proximity to the barge WARNER, already on the beach, ten miles from Cove Island. The tug MASTERS has been engaged to proceed with a steam pump to the WARNER, and will also visit the LOWELL and release her if possible.

A BARGE ASHORE. - The barge J.F. WARNER, which left Detroit a few days since in tow of the steam barge CITY OF PORT HURON, en route to Severn River, Georgian Bay, broke loose from the tow on Monday night and went ashore some ten miles from Cove Island, on the Lake Huron shore. She was formerly the schooner J.F. WARNER, and made two or more voyages to Europe. An expedition will start out from Detroit to rescue her.

ANOTHER ATTEMPT. - Another effort is to be made to rescue the barge J.F. WARNER. On account of bad weather the recent undertaking on this vessel had to be abandoned. The owners on Saturday entered into a contract with a party to get her off and deliver her at Detroit for the sum of $3,000 or no pay.
