NIGHTINGALE Schooner, cargo ore, on Spectacle Reef, Lake Huron; a total loss.

The tug GEORGE HAND is to remove the wreck of the schr. NIGHTINGALE lost several years ago on Spectacle Reef. The hull of this vessel lies on the very spot where the projected lighthouse is to be built. - Detroit Tribune, 6th.
