A private dispatch from Oswego states that the schr. MORGAN, of Belleville, went ashore 2 miles east of that place yesterday. She was light. Damage not known.

The Canadian schr. MARY ANN, which we briefly mentioned in yesterday's issue as the MORGAN, sailed from Oswego Tuesday afternoon for Belleville, light in charge of Capt. Gormly and 2 boys. She was towed out by the tug MAY QUEEN, but soon after the tug let go of her, the Captain ascertained that he had not sufficient crew to make canvas, and he headed her for shore. With the aid of a stiff breeze he was successful in getting her well on the beach, about 1 1/2 miles below the pier. The Captain and boys then left the MARY ANN and went to the city. The vessel will prove a total loss. She was owned by Mr. Gormly, of Amherst Island.
