HELFENSTEIN Brig, cargo railroad iron; on North Harbor Reef, Lake Erie; got off.
      Marine Disasters on the Western
      Lakes during 1869, Capt. J.W. Hall



BRIG HELFENSTEIN. -- This vessel arrived here last night in a leaking condition having sustained injury by getting on a reef at East Sister. She will discharge her cargo of railroad iron and then be towed to Detroit where she will go into dry dock for repairs.
