Yes the Arabia was found in 1971. But Captain Smith the and his boat were hired by my father and his dive club who had a good knowledge of where it was. His name was Gordon Wardle from Brantford, Ont. And the name of the dive club was Brantford Aquatires. I have the original Canadian dive news mag. from 1971. It has the photos of the artifacts they brought up as well as all the info you'll need to understand who and how it was discovered.

I will back you up on that Craig. Your dad and the Brantford Aquateers found the Arabia with the help of Albert Smith and his boat the "Captain Ahab".
