STEAMER ASHORE IN LAKE ONTARIO.
      Syracuse, N. Y., Nov. 11. - A special to the 'Standard' from Clayton says:
      The steamer ALBERTA owned by Hinckley of Cape Vincent, is ashore on Whisky Island Shoal, one mile above Grindstone Island. She went aground about nine o'clock last night. She is coal laden and consigned to M. Delaney of Thurso. She lies in a bad condition.
