BENNINGTON Barge. U. S. No. 162596. Built 1891, of 250 Gross Tons. Sept. 5, 1908 Barge foundered off Whitefish Point, Lake Superior (?) and became a total loss. Two persons on board, both of whom lost their lives.
      Loss of U. S. Vessels Reported in
      Fiscal Year 1909, M.V.U.S. 1909

NOTE :- Whitefish Point, Lake Huron or Lake Superior. ??
