STEAMER A.D. PATCHIN ASHORE.---By a telegraph communication received from the West this morning we learn that the steamer A.D. PATCHIN went ashore yesterday on the reef, four miles north of Racine, and is in a very bad predicament, having four feet water in her hold. The PATCHIN was bound down. There is an insurance of $15,000 on her.

      FROM THE PATCHIN. --- We are indebted to the Western Telegraph Co. for a despatch from the steamer A.D. PATCHIN, stating that the ALBANY was alongside, weather fair and prospects of getting off good. The NILE came down and she tried to get her off but broke all her chains,

STEAMER A.D. PATCHIN.---We learn that this steamer went ashore in a fog, and that a gale sprung up from the north east on the following day which drove her hard on. To keep her from pounding it was found necessary to scuttle her. her freight has all been saved and no doubt is entertained that she will ultimately be got off.

We understand that the steamer A.D. PATCHIN, which came down from Chicago yesterday morning and went over into Canada waters, at Waterloo, was sold on a chattel mortgage in the afternoon. Mr. D.N. Barney being the purchaser.
