      ----------

ANOTHER WRECK. -- The schooner ATALANTA of Fairport, bound up the lake to Kelley's Island, for cedar posts, was capsized about three o'clock in the afternoon, when within ten miles of the Island. She had no cargo. The Sandusky Mirror gives the following particulars in relation to her. "The main and foretop-mast were cut away, but the vessel would not right again, and the captain, with his wife and neice, and the crew who were on board took to the yawl boat and made land between Pt. au Pelee and Rondeau on the Canadian shore, about 12 o'clock at night, having run about 30 miles from the wreck. On Wednesday they went to Rondeau in the hope of finding a vessel, but failing in this, they sailed to Pt. au Pelee Island on Friday, and to Kelley's Island on Saturday. The captain, crew and the ladies came to this place this morning, having been the greater part of the time since last Tuesday in an open boat on the lake. We believe they have gone in search of the wrecked schooner today."
