The Oswego Times of Monday says that while attempting to make the habor during the blow on Saturday night, the brigs MAHONING and PARAGON, and the schooner PRESIDENT, all from Lake Erie, loaded with wheat, went ashore in the East Harbor. The wind blowing a gale from the west drove them from their course while entering the piers. The MAHONING grounded on the bar, and was for some hours exposed to the action of a heavy sea, but she got lines ashore and by the aid of her canvass, worked off at about 10 o'clock on Sunday morning, with out serious injury. The PARAGON and PRESIDENT were driven farther in, and fast aground. the wind subsided about mid-day yesterday, and the PARAGON went to discharging her cargo into canal boats, and lighted so that she got off last night without material injury. The PRESIDENT is also unloading and will probably get off today without much damage.
