IRWIN, J. Brig, when bound down off Fairport ran foul of the Steamer ARCTIC and lost her bowsprit, gibboom and cut-water. April 30, 1851.

ANOTHER COLLISION.---On Tuesday night last the steamer ARCTIC, bound up, came in collision with the brig JOHN IRWIN, bound down, off Fairport. The brig had her bowsprit, jib-boom and cut-water carried away. The steamer had her bulwarks stove considerably.
