ARCTIC Steamer, came in collision off Fairport, Lake Erie with the Brig J. IRWIN, the Brig was bound down , and lost her bowsprit, jibboom and cut-water. April 30, 1851

ANOTHER COLLISION.---On Tuesday night last the steamer ARCTIC, bound up, came in collision with the brig JOHN IRWIN, bound down, off Fairport. The brig had her bowsprit, jib-boom and cut-water carried away. The steamer had her bulwarks stove considerably.
