OGLEBAY, E.W. Steam screw of 3,666 Gross Tons. Built 1896. On Dec. 8, 1927 vessel stranded at Marquette, Mich. on Lake Superior, with 25 persons on board. No lives were lost, but the vessel was considered as a total loss.

Stranded on Shot Point, Lake Superior, 10 miles east of Marquette, Mich., on December 8, 1927; shortly afterwards hull gutted by fire. Later removed and scrapped.
