SHIPWRECKS ON LAKE MICHIGAN. -- The last St. Joseph's Herald recprds the following disasters:
The schooner OCEAN Schooner, Capt. Eggleston, came ashore on Sunday, between the mouth of Black and Kalamazoo Rivers. She had merchandise for New Buffalo. No damage reported. Sailed from Chicago.
The schooner GENERAL HOUSTON, from Buffalo, was blown ashore at the mouth of the river, last Wednesday night. No damage sustained that we know of.
Schooner AGNES BARTON, which left Detroit several weeks since, for the upper lakes, has not been heard of. Spars have been found at Fort Gratiot which resemble those of the AGNES B. It is believe she is lost.
Schooner ALERT left Detroit, September 30, with a full cargo, bound for Saginaw Bay. No intelligence having been received concerning her, it is fearded she is a wreck.
