NIELSON, J.B. Steamer, ran ashore Oct. 8, 1915, while seeking shelter from a storm, on Keweenaw Point, Lake Superior. Released Oct. 14th. by wrecker FAVORITE and towed to Soo where she was picked up by a steamer and towed to Lorain,; repaired Oct. 21; Forepeak and No.1 tank punctured and large hole stove in bottom.
