MINNEHAHA Screw Steamer. Can. Reg. No.78027. Registered at the port of Collingwood, 13 years of age. 22 Tons Reg. Ran on a rock and sunk on the East shore of Georgian Bay, October 11, 1895. She was bound from Parry sound to Penetanguishene. A total loss. Amount of loss $5,000

Owners :- John C. Miller, Parry Sound, Ont. Lumber Merchant, owns all sixty four shares.

REGISTRY NOTATIONS :-This vessel foundered Oct. 11th. 1895 in the locality about a quarter mile Southwest of One Tree Island in the Georgian Bay, on the inside channel running between Penetanguishene and Parry Sound, and became a total loss. Her certificate of British Registry was lost with her. Register closed the twentieth day of April 1909. Her form 20 received 24th. May 1909

NOTE:-- The wreck of the MINNEHAHA, lies in shallow water in a bay (Terry's Bay) Galbraith Island, within Monument Channel.
