North Port, Mich., Oct. 31. -- The schooner KETCHAM, loading at Gill's Pier, on the lake shore, with hardwood lumber, dragged ashore and will no doubt be a total loss. Insured. The cargo belongs to Gill & Son, and is not insured.

      There is an unusual chapter of outside accidents reported. The schooner KETCHUM is reported ashore and in bad shape at Gill's Pier, Lake Michigan. She is valued at $6,300 and insured for $4,000. It is thought she has no cargo.

The schooner KETCHUM is on the beach at Gill's Pier, and is in bad condition. She is owned by Mueller & Christie, of Chicago, and rates B 1. Valued at 5,000. This is the third time she has been ashore this season.
