East Tawas, Mich., Dec. 18. -- There was a terrible gale, with snow, during last night. The schooner DEMOCRAT dragged her anchor and piled out on the ice about Emery's Dock. She is in bad shape. The crew got ashore. tawas Bay is full of anchor ice.
