      Schooner IONIA, 8 years old, registered at Hamilton, bound from Consecon to Oswego, stranded on Oct. 9, 1874, on the Middle Ground, 1 mile east of Presqu'Isle, she had sprung a leak which caused her stranding. Vessel was of 52 tons Reg. She was considered a partial wreck, with the damage being $I,200.
