Kingston, Ont., Oct. 28. -- The steam barge FRED MERCUR, loaded with coal, from Oswego, has gone ashore near Cape Vincent in a fog. She belongs to the Hall Company of new York. The steamer CITY OF NEW YORK, is ashore near Hallidays Point, eight miles down the river, on her way to Kingston.
