Full Text

The schooner MERCATOR left this port on Thursday last for Detroit, with a cargo of oats, corn, flour, and whisky. She sprung a leak and has gone ashore at the mouth of the Rocky River. We understand she is unloaded, but her cargo much damaged.
We are also informed that the ERIE PACKET went ashore last week near the mouth of Grand River, with a cargo of merchandise, principally belonging to Mr. Brewster of this village.
