BRIG MAYFLOWER. - This vessel, which met with a disaster a few days since, by sinking with a cargo of ore one mile above Detour, has not yet been raised. A steam pump was put on board of her, which was unequal to the task of pumping her out. Capt. Vickery came down to the city on the OMAR PASHA to procure the services of another pump, which was taken up on the ILLINOIS. Her damages are more serious than at first supposed, and to raise her will be no easy undertaking. - Detroit Free Press, July 9th.
