      Commercial Advertiser, Feb. 26, 1867

      The bark JESSE HOYT and the schooner C.Y. RICHMOND collided on the St. Clair River on the 26th, carrying away the jib-boom and head-gear of the former and cutting the fore-rigging of the RICHMOND in two. Both vessels were bound down. The former stopped at Detroit for repairs.
