ON THE REEFS. - On Sunday last, the steamer MESSENGER, from Cleveland, ran on Ballast Island Reefs, and, as the EVENING STAR passed her, lay high anfd dry among the rocks at least 18 inches out of water. There will be considerable trouble in getting her off. Should a heavy storm overtake her there, her chances for getting safely off would be rather slim. Sandusky Register.
