THE TORNADO AT BUFFALO.---The Buffalo Courier of Tuesday has full details of the frightful storm which visited that city on Monday. About four o'clock in the afternoon a heavy rain, intermixed with hail, and accompanied by a very strong wind, set in, and raged for half an hour. It came almost directly from the West, over-turning chimneys, carrying away roofs, up-rooting trees, and doing a good deal of other damage. The Schooner MAZEPPA was broken from its moorings, and dashed with violence against the schooner GOSHAW, which in its turn ran into the canal-boat MONITOR. In the latter craft were Mrs. Sarah J. Mallory and her child of two years. The child was rescued in safety, but Mrs. Mallory was frightfully bruised by the broken timbers, and died in about half an hour. (part)
