Young Lion (Schooner), sails split, 1 Oct 1833
- Full Text
The Schooner YOUNG LION, Capt. Kennedy, has arrived, leaving Cleveland on the morning of the blow; scudding as long as possible, and laying too all night under bare poles, the sea making a continual breach over her from stem to stern - sails split - but came in with flour for Smith & Macy, with only the loss of ten barrels.
