DROWNED.--Mr. Hartley Mercer was lost overboard from the Schooner HENRY NORTON, near Grand River, yesterday. The foresheet got twisted around his leg in jibing, and threw him about 40 feet from the vessel. Every exertion was made to rescue him, but without success.
