Albion (Schooner), aground, 14 Apr 1849

The schooner ALBION, ashore near the mouth of the Welland Canal, is reported to be high and dry on a sand beach, without any material injury. We hear of no other vessel ashore in this lake. The schooner ONEIDA, from Sandusky, was driven by this port by the gale on Saturday, and ran into Sackett's Harbor. She arrived here last night.-----Oswego Times
