The schooner JANE, it is reported, came in collision with the steamer WARD, and was abandoned near Racine.

      We regret to learn that the small schooner ELIZA JANE, formerly of this port, was run down and sunk by the steamer WARD Saturday evening. The crew succeeded in getting ashore in their boat. - Milwaukee Sent. & Gaz.
