MELANCHOLY DEATH.--We regret to learn, that the second Engineer on the Steam-boat FAIRPORT, which plies between Mackinaw and Chippewa, was instantly killed on the 8th.inst.,by being dragged into the machinery of the boat. We did not learn his name.
