Barge HARMON, of 271 Tons. Built 1867 and owned by Gilchrist. Home port, Alpena. Class A 2 and a half. On November 14, 1887, the barge, with a cargo of lumber, went ashore on Lake Erie, and became a total loss. property loss, hull $7,000 cargo $4,500

Port Colborne.---The barge E. HARMON, which is ashore on Point Abino, is reported to be broken in two and fast going to pieces. The barge ARK, which is ashore here, was in a fair way of being released.
