CHICAGO.---A collision occurred as the WALLULA was coming up the river, with the schooner CAPE HORN, going down, near the Illinois Central railroad bridge. The Tug J.C. INGRAM, towing the CAPE HORN, tried to pass between the WALLULA and the barge STEVENSON, lying at a dock. The WALLULA struck the CAPE HORN amidships, carrying away some of her rail and stanchions, and the CAPE HORN carried away the STEVENSON's mizzen rigging and her own head gear and martingale.
