Port Colborne
The schooner SYLVESTER NEELON of St. Catharines, loaded with iron ore and bound from Kingston to Cleveland, while lying at anchor in shelter at Grand River when the schooner L. SEATON came in and run into her, sinking the NEELON. The SEATON was loaded with wheat, and bound from Detroit to Buffalo. The SEATON lost her jibboom and bowsprit, and went about four feet out on the shore. The NEELON registers 291 tons and is owned by Platt & Bradley of Hamilton. The SEATON is owned by Kelderhouse, of Buffalo and registers 221 tons. Messrs. Carter & Bros., wreckers of this place, went to Grand River Monday to see what assistance they required.

Port Colborne.---The schooner SYLVESTER NEELON is at Port Colborne, and her cargo of iron ore has been discharged. Owners of it have been notified that the vessel can not carry it westward this fall. The schooner SEATON, with which the NEELON collided, has been libeled, and action for $3,000 damages has been entered in the maritime court.
