Port Colborne
The schooner SYLVESTER NEELON of St. Catharines, loaded with iron ore and bound from Kingston to Cleveland, while lying at anchor in shelter at Grand River when the schooner L. SEATON came in and run into her, sinking the NEELON. The SEATON was loaded with wheat, and bound from Detroit to Buffalo. The SEATON lost her jibboom and bowsprit, and went about four feet out on the shore. The NEELON registers 291 tons and is owned by Platt & Bradley of Hamilton. The SEATON is owned by Kelderhouse, of Buffalo and registers 221 tons. Messrs Carter & Bros., wreckers of this place, went to Grand river Monday to see what assistance they required.

Buffalo.---The schooner L. SEATON has not been released from marshal's custody at Point Maitland, and though no longer ashore, is tied up there. Her owner, though maintaining that he can prove the NEELON at fault in the collision that sunk the latter, has made no move to bond the SEATON. The NEELON has been raised and towed to Port Colborne.

Buffalo.---The schooner L. SEATON was towed here from Grand River, and will be put into drydock. The schooner has been released from her libel by the schooner S. NEELON, her owner finding that the SEATON was not to blame for the collision in which she was sunk.

Buffalo.---The underwriters have sold the schooner SEATON, as she lies in drydock, to Captain Charles McMillan, late masterof the schooner QUEEN OF THE WEST, and H.B. Tuttle, for $800
