Propeller FRED McBRIER of 355 tons. Built 1881 and owned by Miner. Home port, Alpena, classed A 1. On July 23, 1887 vessel with a cargo of wheat, sprung a leak on Lake Erie. Property loss, hull $1,000, cargo $2,500.
