Port Burwell, October 14. - The GRACE SHERWOOD, of Cleveland, bound for Port
Stanley, while trying to make this harbor for shelter, went ashore about three o'clock this afternoon. She is not much damaged, and when the sea runs down, she can be taken into the harbor without much damage being done.

The schr. GRACE SHERWOOD, of Cleveland, bound for Port Stanley, while trying to make Port Burwell for shelter, went ashore about 3:00 Monday afternoon. She has not received serious damage and it was thought could be got off when the sea subsided.

Mr. Geo. W. Pontine, shipbuilder at Port Burwell, reports the schr. GRACE SHERWOOD, which was ashore there, off and undergoing repairs at that port. The barge SAGINAW has also been got off and inside. She leaves westward immediately. The ROBERT EMMETT, at Port Bruce is still on the beach.
