The barque CHIEFTAN, Capt. Miner, arrived last evening from Buffalo, with railroad iron, having lost her fore-top-gallant mast on Lake Huron in a blow. Capt. Miner reports having seen yesterday morning a large black fore-and-after ashore on the head of the south Manitou, supposed to be the C.P. WILLIAMS, from Michigan City with 14,775 bu. of corn. - Chicago Tribune, Friday.
