Description
Full Text

ACCIDENT TO THE OCEAN. - An accident occurred to the OCEAN, as she was starting from Cleveland on Monday evening, which rendered it necessary for her to lay over at that place a day or two for repairs. As she was leaving her dock, and before she had proceeded her length, owing to her heavy load, she grounded, and while trying to get her off a pin worked loose from her piston, which it took some time to replace; after which she started, but by the time she had reached the dock of the Cleveland & Pittsburgh Railroad Company, it was ascertained that one of her boilers was leaking, and she was obliged to lay
over. She was to start on her regular time last night.
