STRUCK. - The schooner GEORGE WASHINGTON, of the Lake Navigation Co's line,
which made this port yesterday morning, was struck by lightning on her way up, Monday, and had her main topmast knocked down and lost, and her mainmast shattered considerably. - Chicago Tribune, Monday
