FROM LAKE SUPERIOR. - The propeller GEN. TAYLOR arrived here yesterday from
Lake Superior. In goint through the Sault canal she broke her engine, and was propelled here by one wheel only. She brought 250 tons of copper---about half of which was consigned to the smelting works in this city, and the remainder to Cleveland. - Detroit Free Press, 23.
